I found this interesting site that may address your question: http://www.rocketroberts.com/astro/tasco.htm . It says: "Source for Quality Components: ... I personally recommend products offered by Orion Telescope and Binocular. ... I recommend them because I have used the products and have found them to be of very high quality, and I have dealt with Orion on numerous occasions and have always had good service. Orion has a web site (and on-line catalog) at or you can call them toll free (from the US anyway) at 800 447 1001." You can find Orion at: http://www.telescope.com/jump.jsp?itemID=0&itemType=HOME_PAGE

Eye to the Telescope List Price: $11.94 Sale Price: $5.88 Used From: $1.75 |

If the art of the female singer-songwriter revolves around coffee-table soliloquies then Eye to the Telescope--the debut album from Edinburgh-born chanteuse/guitarist KT Tunstall--is a pleasing mediation between the traditional demands of brooding egocentricity (espresso) and frothy commerciality (cappuccino). KT Tunstall has star quality. "Suddenly I See" is an effortlessly liberating pop fillip while, conversely, "False Alarm" redresses ABBA's "The Winner Takes It All" for losers who had nothing to lose to begin with. However, Tunstall isn't entirely convinced by the compromise ("I'm struggling to cater for the space I'm meant to fill" she sings) and "Miniature Disasters"--one of several strong numbers showcasing her aptitude for wrapping up pop tunes in either folky bluesiness or ponderous jazz--catalogues her desires for unfettered self-expression. The opening cut "Other Side Of The World" might sound like Dido without the giftwrapped grief (she's none too flattered with the comparisons) but Eye to the Telescope is spiritually closer to Carole King and Elvis Costello than Katie Melua. And that's no bad thing. --Kevin Maidment No Description Available.Genre: Popular MusicMedia Format: Compact DiskRating: Release Date: 7-FEB-2006 |

How To Find Telescopes For Sale
Are you interested in buying a telescope? Have you been wondering how to find telescopes for sale? In this article, you will discover how you too can find telescopes for sale, and buy a telescope to start your astronomy hobby.
There are several places where you can go to find telescopes for sale. They each have there own benefits and negatives. What you must realize first off, is that telescopes are scientific instruments. There are some telescopes available that are everything but telescopes, so it is best to think about what you really want out of astronomy.
Here are the possible sources to find telescopes for sale:
* Toy Stores
* Magazines
* Specialist Telescope And Astronomy Stores
* Online
* Telescope For Sale In Toy Stores
For many of us, the first experience of seeing a telescope for sale is at a toy store or some department store. You can tell, these telescopes, because there is a lack of variety.
Usually this type of telescope retails for $100 or less. It likely is made out of plastic, and if the tripod is made out of metal, it is as flimsy as a tree in the wind. When buying telescopes, the tripod and mount need to be sturdy.
Don't get me wrong, these telescopes are great, especially for children, however, for teenagers and older, I strongly suggest investing in a telescope, instead of going for these cheap telescopes.
* Telescopes For Sale In Magazines
There are dedicated magazines for astronomy, such as Sky and Telescope. These types of magazine can be great to find a telescope for sale. However, the prices may not be the best possible.
Magazines can be a great way to learn about astronomy, and may even give you a way to get the most out of a telescope. The benefit here is that you have several choices, all under one roof - so to speak.
* Telescopes For Sale In Specialist Telescope And Astronomy Stores
If you can visit a specialist store, it can be a great way to get into astronomy. Not only are the salespeople likely to know what they are talking about, but they likely can also help you to find a telescope, for your needs. Unfortunately, a specialist telescope store can't be found on every street. And prices are likely going to be the highest you can find.
* Telescopes For Sale Online
I like to buy online. The prices are cheap, and there is a lot of variety. The problem however, is that you can't actually see a physical product before buying. However, you can rest assured, with some research; you easily could save a lot of money, by buying online.
