What is the camera mount on my tripod's leg for?
Ok, so I have a semi-serious very old tripod (slik 88) and I just found it has a camera mount thread about a foot down one of the legs, and only one of the legs, does anyone have a good answer for what it is for? specifically
For shooting vertically? Like of things on the ground?

ATIZ Innovation is a pioneer in the development of professional book scanners, and a world leader in the field of scanning books c digital camera. Company name is derived from the Eng.
