If the internal memory is found insufficient, extra memory can be attached in the form of a microSD card of up to 16 GB. Both these memories together can be used to store different kinds of stuffs in the Jet.
A camera of resolution 5 MP is present in the S8000. It also has the autofocus and LED flash feature in it for capturing high quality snaps with utmost ease. The autofocus enables focusing of images and the LED flash helps with the capturing done in dim light conditions. Smile detection feature helps you to capture at the perfect kodak moment which is not so easy otherwise. With the face detection feature, the few stored faces are detected and snap is taken automatically. Geotagging allows the tagging of images with information about the location where snap is taken. So, now you don't need to remember where each snap was taken! There is also the secondary camera enabling video calling. Through this video calling, one can enjoy live videos of the person he or she is talking to. Isn't it exciting!
Web browsing comes inbuilt in the Samsung S8000 Jet with the presence of GPRS and EDGE features. The handset further has the presence of support for the wireless network. With the help of Bluetooth feature, stuffs can be transferred from the phone to other phones or laptops. Again, another similar feature called the USB enables users with the transfer of files from the phone to the desktops and laptops. Videos, music files, pictures and all can be transferred with ease. Player to play MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV formats of files is provided in the widget and also video player to play DivX, XviD, H.263, H.264, MPEG4, WMV formats of videos is provided here. The Samsung S8000 Jet continues to entertain through the radio feature that gets to be known as a great thing for anytime enjoyment. There is also a possibility to record the FM programs through the phone. Games available in the Jet enhance the enjoyment level specially for the game freaks. These games are inbuilt and also have the possibility to download more of them from the internet. A Standard battery, Li-Ion 1100 mAh is provided in the gadget to support its usage. It provides a 3G talktime support of up to 5 hours and a 3G standby support of upto 306 hours.
