Bad Lens
Is it bad to wear contact lens if im only 14 ?
I am 14 and I really want contact lens...only temporary daily ones not the permenant ones...I would only wear it for going out to parties and playing sports
You're in exactly the same situation as me. I'm 14 as well.
The only difference is I have just started wearing them. About 3/4 weeks ago I think, I use the daily ones (Focus Dailies). I only use them for sports and special occasions though.
They are great, it's like a whole new world.
And as long as you're mature enough to use them responsibly and know how to care for them, there is no age limit for when to start wearing them.
So no, I don't suppose it is 'bad' to wear contacts if you're only 14.

Contact lenses are NOT shaped to the wearers eyes. Everybody's eyes are exactly the same, they never grow. So a baby's eyes are the same size as an adult's eyes. The shape and curvature of the lenses remains the same, it's only the strength that changes.
